DANSVILLE – A local author has shared a heartwarming story about the true meaning of Christmas in a new children’s book.
Tasha Cotter, author of “The Little Christmas Tree” began her love for writing when she was a little girl.
“I began writing poetry when I was 12 years old for family and friends. I found it an enjoyable way to express myself. I enjoyed writing so much that I took some writing courses in high school, including writing children’s books,” she said.
Cotter is author of seven books prior to her latest holiday tale. She finds inspiration with her family.
“I always get inspired by my children. They love it when I make up stories on the spot. My husband has also been very supportive of my writings. I’m very blessed. I truly enjoy writing faith-based books for children. I love to encourage their own creativity and hope my stories can do that for them,” she said.
Cotter is working on a children’s book for Easter. It will be a follow up to her story about this sweet little tree that found the true meaning of Christmas.
“The Little Christmas Tree” can be found at Barnes and Nobel, Amazon and LifeRich. You can find updates on her book with her Facebook page The Little Christmas Tree.
